Online sign-ups available at www.hopartscenter.org Liam Dailey is a Boston singer-songwriter who plays contemporary music inspired by the traditions of Appalachia and Ireland. His writing is rooted in the belief that music should be sung together and should get under the skin, but a commitment to melody should not mean a sacrifice of thoughtfulness and experimentation. Grounded by his powerful baritone voice and creative acoustic guitar playing, his songs flirt with tropes of folk, country, rock and pop. He released his debut solo album, Get It Where You Can, in 2017. In addition to his solo work, he has performed nationally with the contemporary vocal ensemble Bennington and plays with the Vermont folk cover band Heavy Nettles.
