ThunderFest
ThunderFest is a celebration of winter fun in the Berkshires. Named in honor of the historic Thunderbolt Ski Run where intrepid backcountry skiers and boarders race up and down Mt. Greylock, the tallest mountain in Southern New England. Admission is free at the family-friendly ThunderFest street festival in downtown Adams featuring live music, local food and brews, chowder competition, craft and outdoor recreation vendors and a toasty campfire. The Berkshire Scenic Railroad will be running their Snow Trains hourly from the fest. Their specially decorated historic train car recreates the trains that used to bring tourists to ski in the Berkshire Hills. Also, the Thunderbolt Ski Museum ill be open with free admission.
