The Town of Wendell Massachusetts was founded in 1781 and is located in Franklin County. The town was named for Judge Oliver Wendell of Boston.
Visitors and residents are encouraged to visit the Wendell State Forest for recreational activities as well as visiting the Full Moon Coffee House which consists of monthly concerts on the Saturday night closest to a full moon.
It is a small rural town where the spirit of volunteerism and a helping hand sense of community prevail.
