The Town of Scituate Massachusetts was founded in 1636 and is located in Plymouth County about 25 miles from Boston.
The town contains a number of Historical points of interest. Among these are the Scituate Lighthouse and The Old Oaken Bucket Homestead and Well along with the Cudworth House and the Little Red School House which is now the home of the Scituate Historical Society.
Scituate is a mid sized seacoast community with ocean related recreational activities which make it a desirable place to live and raise a family.
