2016-17 Springfield Sting Local ABA Tryout
The Springfield Sting of the American Basketball Association will be holding a local tryout for the 2016-17 season.  This will be the final tryout for this season.  All interested athletes are asked to please email zbaru@springfieldsting.com before registration.  Since this is a professional team, as per NCAA and NJCAA rules, no current NCAA or NJCAA players please. Should you become a member of the team, the Springfield Sting is an opportunity to showcase your talent and skills to potential scouts, coaches, executives and general managers that may be present at home and away games throughout the season.  This is also a chance to get potential exposure to any media coverage that the Sting gets throughout the season.  Many ABA players make it to the NBA Development League, and some ABA players go on to make it to the NBA.  Is it guaranteed?  Of course not.  But with hard work and effort, playing on the Sting presents all athletes an opportunity to gain exposure, accelerate their careers and move on to the next level.
