About Burlington, MA
Burlington Massachusetts was formed in 1799 and most of its history was based on the agricultural use of the land selling produce to Boston. It also supported itself with small shoe making shops. Burlington missed out on the early railroad expansion thereby limiting its early development so it continued to cure hams and produce milk and fruit and vegetables.

As soon as Route 128 was built this picture changed drastically causing an enormous expansion. Between 1955 and 1965 Burlington was the fastest growing town in the state on Massachusetts. Its population more than tripled as commercial retail and residential development exploded and created the town's current character. Burlington is nestled among Routes 128, Route 3 and 3A as well as Route 62, which makes it easily accessible to Boston and all points north and south.

Burlington is home to many hi-tech companies and industries and is loaded with opportunity for the professional business person. Add to that its flourishing retail sales market and you have a town oozing with positive cash flow. The next time your visiting the Burlington Mall, take a ride along Cambridge Street and discover all of the small businesses and restaurants that the town has to offer.
