Feel Good Drift: Live at the Grand Hall
The Grand Hall at Workshop13 is proud to present a rock'n evening, filled with dancing to the rock/funk band, Feel Good Drift! Feel Good Riffs with Feel Good Drift! This Cover Band w/ Original Flare performs a wide variety of mash-ups from your favorite artists. Feel Good Drift started out as front man Alex Rohan who grew up in Ware. He was playing solo acoustic shows at local bars around the area. Not too long after, Marty Thompson stepped in and started playing lead guitar and adding more feel to the songs. Soon after Marty, Corey Villamaino joined the group to play drums. Without practice, the 3 got together one Thursday night at a local bar called Nathan Bills. After a few songs, Alex, Marty and Corey were amazed at the response they were getting from the people listening...they loved it. Besides the fact that the crowd enjoyed the music genres and style the band was playing... they were more amazed by the fact that it was the first time the 3 had gotten together and were blending so well and collaborating the way they were. After a few more Thursday shows and other offers to play other shows around the area, they decided to get a name. The music they play has a good feel and the jam band style with Marty's intense guitar solos has the band drifting off into a musical collaboration that will be sure to get you moving...Later on, childhood friend of Alex, Joe Stafilarakis was added to the band as Feel Good Drift's Bass player/backup vocals. Finally, Feel Good Drift was created. Doors open at 7:00pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Beer & Wine available for purchase. As always we will be featuring Tree House Brewery! Stealhead: Live at the Grand Hall
The Grand Hall at Workshop13 is proud to present a jammin' evening, filled with dancing to the jam band, Stealhead! STEALHEAD: "STEALHEAD was formed in 2010 after some of the members had met at open mics around the area. Their genre of music could be described as a good representation of where they come from and where they hope to go. In the spirit of the great jam bands of the world, they strive to play an ever changing and increasingly original set of our own songs, while still playing the covers we like. Even if you don't vibe with what they are doing, you can enjoy it nonetheless. They are collectively from northern CT/Southern MA, and are available to play everywhere in between. As a collective, they strive to practice diligently and perform flawlessly, and that dedication has enabled them to do some really cool things onstage and enhanced the experience for everyone involved." "Our style of music ranges from psychedelic improvisation to the blues, from jazz to classical theory to experimental. Our influences include the Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton, Ben Harper, The Allman Bros. Band, Derek Trucks Band, The Beatles, The Eagles, Johnny Lang, just to name a few." Doors open at 7:00pm and the show will start at 7:30pm. Beer & Wine available for purchase. As always we will be featuring Tree House Brewery! No drinks, coolers or food allowed on premises.
