Birding By Ear

Birding by Ear John Green, naturalist Sunday, June 9, 7am-10am Have you been wanting to learn your bird calls? Or practice them? Join John Green as he ambles through his favorite habitat at Quabbin looking and listening. $12 Members $16 Nonmembers, space is limited registration required.  John will guide you on a listening walk through a local habitat. He will point out the songs and calls of a variety of spring nesting songbirds. He will share strategies about how to distinguish some of the sound-a-like songs and will help you connect the visual image with the sound! He will explore several varied habitats and specify which species live in each so you can more easily determine who is singing!  All cancellations will incur a 10% administrative fee.  We do not accept cancellations within a week of the program.
