“Beethoven in the Village: A Piano Concert by Jordan Hillman” The music of Ludwig van Beethoven has thrilled audiences for generations. His Piano Sonata No. 23 in F Minor, known as the “Appassionata,” is one of his masterpieces. It will be performed at Goff Hall on January 20th as part of a classical program by Jordan Hillman. Jordan is the music director at the Rehoboth Congregational Church where he plays at weekly services and leads the choir. This is his first professional recital and the first date of a regional concert tour. The program will include famous pieces by Chopin, Schubert, and Gershwin, as well as one of Jordan's own compositions. Tickets are $20. Refreshments will be sold at intermission. VIP tickets are also available, which include an invitation to a champagne reception. The reception will begin at 6pm and will have champagne, hors d'oeuvres and a meet and greet with Jordan, where he will offer a brief discussion of the concert program. VIP tickets are $60. Goff Hall is located at Blanding Library at 124 Bay State Rd, Rehoboth MA. Doors will open at 7for a 7:30 performance. The program will last about an hour. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Rehoboth Congregational Church.
