Chess @ Fuller Craft Museum Weekly Club
Calling all chess players and enthusiasts! Starting Thursday, October 6, the quarterly chess club at Fuller Craft Museum is turning into a weekly club for players of all levels and ages. Now every Thursday 4- 8pm, join us for a time of strategy, intellect, and fun at Fuller Craft Museum. The club will combine casual play and rated games conducted by Nicholas P. Sterling, Ph.D., USCF Chess Tournament Director. Also, we will have a beginners table for players who would like to continue building their skills with puzzles, tactics, and full games. Players under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. Come simply to observe or play to win! You can drop in on any given Thursday to play chess for a drop-in fee of $15 ($12 Museum members).  Or you can join the club for an introductory monthly fee of $40 (4 consecutive weeks); $32 for Museum members. Drop-ins can register in advance or pay at the door. This club is organized in collaboration with the MA Chess Association (MACA) and sponsored in part by the Mass Cultural Council. Chess @ Fuller Craft is part of the the artKitchen Café Performance Series, which is funded in part by the following cultural councils: Abington, Attleboro, Bridgewater, Brockton, Duxbury, East Bridgewater, Easton, Foxborough, Hanson, Mansfield, Middleborough, Norton, Pembroke, Plympton, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Westwood, and Whitman. These local agencies support the arts with funding provided by MA Cultural Council. We are grateful for their support.

Beauty Hurts 2017: The Process to Progress Propa City Community Outreach is holding their third annual Beauty Hurts Women's Conference.  This conference is designed to bring women of all ages and stages together to positively adress the hurt and pain that they have been through.  The Beauty Hurts conference creates a space for women to connect, relate and release in order to really tap into their true inner beauty. We welcome women of all ages to come out and enjoy two days of a spa night with workshops, and a bruch with musical selections and a special tag team message from our guest speakers. Join us as we meet other women who are determined to start and maintain thir beautification process.
