Pia Salvia is a harpist and singer raised in Belgium. Although she has a classical background, her passion is to explore the harp in many musical genres. In 2012, she was selected for the reality talent search show The Voice in France and made it to the top 20. After that, she played and sang for different projects and decided to go deeper in her exploration of the harp. After a trip in Cuba, she started her studies at Berklee College of Music; spent a semester studying Mediterranean music in Valencia, Spain; and went to Colombia and Brazil to learn more about new musical styles and cultures.
In September 2015, Salvia had the honor of being invited to play for the Second International Harp Festival in Bogota, Colombia, where she gave master class in Spanish about flamenco music and bossa nova with the harp and then performed. After that, she was invited to play at the Boston Harp Festival as the opening act for famous harpist Deborah Henson Conant. Salvia is constantly performing and recording for different projects and is working on her own album.
