About Spencer, MA
The Town of Spencer Massachusetts was founded in 1753 and is located in Worcester County about 20 minutes west of Worcester.

The Town got its name from Lieutenant Governor Spencer Phipps who also signed the order establishing the district.

Spencer contains about 12,000 year round residents and is also home to several large dairy farms.
