America's favorite holiday story, It's a Wonderful Life, is taking the stage at Greater Boston Stage Company. Alone and defeated, George Bailey stands on the bridge that overlooks his beloved Bedford Falls, convinced himself that his life and his work have been for nothing. He's about to end it all when he's visited by a guardian angel who will show him what life would have been like without him. This heartwarming story about the importance of ordinary acts of kindness and decency has become a beloved holiday tradition.

ZooLights at Stone Zoo
ZooLights is set to once again dazzle visitors of all ages when it opens for the holiday season on Friday, November 23. This winter wonderland attracts thousands of visitors each year who get into the holiday spirit by strolling along tree-lined paths lit by thousands of twinkling lights. New this year, guests will be able to see the Caribbean Coast exhibit festively decorated. Stroll through the beautifully lit Yukon Creek and see black bears, bald eagles, Canada lynx, arctic foxes, and even reindeer!Guests of all ages will have the opportunity to meet one of Stone Zoo’s reindeer up close during the nightly photo opportunities.* Children will want to make sure they visit with Santa, who awaits their arrival in Santa’s Castle. Jolly Old St. Nick will be available for photos through December 24. On December 5, 12, 19 and 24, guests can also meet Mrs. Claus, who will be greeting visitors and spreading holiday cheer throughout the Zoo from 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.* Please note: The reindeer photo opportunities are subject to change at any time due to the animals’ needs and the weather.

Spend December School Vacation Week at Stone Zoo
Connect with incredible wildlife during school vacation week at Stone Zoo! Learn about some of the Zoo’s residents, and ask questions directly to the staff about how they care for the animals during the colder winter months.
