PORTRAIT OF A GRADUATE

Portrait of a Graduate

Embarking on Portrait of a Graduate work as a district means that we are  actively considering the landscape our students will face in their future. This endeavor represents our district's vision for acquiring the 21st century skills that our students will need to succeed beyond Central Berkshire to include character traits, habits of mind, and social-emotional competencies. It is our responsibility to ensure that our students succeed beyond their educational journey with us. The essential question we asked ourselves in order to identify important attributes is:

"As a community and a district, what are our aspirations for our children?"

The PowerPoint to the right is a culmination of our Portrait of a Graduate work. This presentation outlines priority values identified as a result of gatherings among teachers, students, administrators, families, and community members.
