"20th Century Blues"
20th Century Blues

A reunion. An argument. A Ted Talk. Emotional mutiny. And a bond that connects four women who meet once a year for a photo shoot, chronicling their changing (and aging) selves as they navigate through love, careers, children, and major world events. 20th Century Blues is the sharply funny and evocative new play by Susan Miller that questions our place in the world and with one another. “Though it touches on themes of friendship and art-making, this is mostly a comedy about aging. Ms. Miller … hopes to demonstrate that when women turn 60 they don’t suddenly become sexless, charmless, invisible” — (The New York Times). Susan Miller is the recipient of two OBIE awards and a Guggenheim Fellowship in playwriting.

As soon as Route 128 was built this picture changed drastically causing an enormous expansion. Between 1955 and 1965 Burlington was the fastest growing town in the state of Massachusetts.
