Framingham Earth Day Festival

On Saturday, April 20, 2024 Framingham will hold the annual Earth Day Festival on the Framingham Green.  MWRTA will run a pilot shuttle on this day - please see schedule and maps below! Be sure to stop by the event where we will have a table, alongside many other vendors!

Route 9 Park & Ride Re-Opening

The Route 9 Framingham Park & Ride will re-open on Friday, April 19, 2024.  MWRTA Routes 7 and 9 will begin servicing the stop again on Monday, April 22, 2024.  The temporary stop on California Ave will move back to the Park & Ride.  Please see revised schedules below.

MWRTA Night Service!

Fixed Routes:

On April 8, 2024 MWRTA will launch night service on the Routes: 4 North, 4 South, 6, 7, 7C, and 14! Each route* will be extended by roughly 3 hours each. Most schedules will have slight timing changes throughout the schedule as well - please see the links below for details!

*The Route 6 will have a half loop added at the end of the night, when the Route 14 returns to Framingham from Milford Crossings.

Catch Connect Framingham/Natick:

On March 4, 2024 MWRTA will launch night service on Catch Connect in Framingham and Natick! The service will operate from 7:30 PM - 10:00 PM in the existing Catch Connect Framingham/Natick service area. Visit www.mwrta.com/catch for full details. 

TryTransit Fare Free Program is Extended!

On January 1, 2024 MWRTA launched the TryTransit Program, providing Fixed Route and Demand Response passengers with fare free options through March 31. On February 12, the MWRTA Advisory Board voted to extend the program through June 30, 2024!

Up-to-the-Minute Bus Route Info

MWRTA is participating in Google Transit - click here and then type in your directions to utilize this service. Use the Google Transit Trip Planner to get step-by-step transit directions in your web browser. Enter a starting and ending address or destination serviced by MWRTA and you will be given schedule and fare information for navigating the bus system.

The Google Transit Trip Planner is also available for some mobile phones by navigating to http://m.google.com/maps in your mobile browser. You may also get directions to and from the MBTA service area into and out of the MWRTA service area.

In Honor and Respect for our Country's Symbol

The MWRTA is now accepting your old, tattered, or otherwise damaged American Flags at the Blandin Hub for proper disposal.

Customer Service will be happy to take your flag(s,) which will be placed in a designated container to be properly disposed of at a later date.
